Mrs. Lanaye Gibbons, Principal

Dear Clayton Partnership Families,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Clayton Partnership! As I begin my fourth year as Principal, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue leading and serving this wonderful community.

Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, Instructional Guide, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Each role has strengthened my belief that every student deserves to feel known, valued, supported, and challenged. I am committed to creating a school where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally- and where families and staff work together as true partners.

What makes Clayton special is our people. Our students bring curiosity, joy, and unique strengths each day; our staff brings tremendous care and dedication; and our families play an essential role in every child’s success. Through strong partnerships and open communication, we can ensure that all students feel a sense of belonging and are empowered to reach their full potential.

It is an honor to continue serving as Principal of Clayton Partnership. I look forward to another year of learning, growth, and celebration together. Thank you for being an important part of our Clayton community.

Ms. Jolene Durrant, Assistant Principal

Dear Clayton Partnership Families,

I am beyond excited to continue serving the Clayton Partnership community as the Mapleton School District Assistant Principal in my second year. It is with great enthusiasm that I look forward to supporting students, families, and staff members throughout the upcoming year. Born and raised in Southern California, I have also lived in several other states, including Alabama, Wyoming, and Hawaii. My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Hawaii West Oahu and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Regis University.

As I embark on my seventh year as an administrator, my passion for education continues to grow, and I am eager to share that passion with you all.

I am a proud mother of two teenage boys, aged 18 and 15. You can often find us enjoying time outdoors together, engaging in various activities such as pickleball, mountain biking, and making s'mores in the summer! During the colder months, we love exploring the snowy mountains and visiting as often as we can. Having lived in the mountains for 8 years, they hold a special place in our hearts.

Clarity, compassion, and accountability are the pillars that guide my decisions and how I engage with all stakeholders. I am committed to contributing to the success of every student at Clayton Partnership, and I look forward to partnering with you to achieve this goal.

Warmly,

Jolene Durrant
